Looks and sounds great. Nice work!!
Re: Korg SuperDelta
Thx!
I'm working on some other demos, with less resonance, looking for smooth and more musical sounds...
Stay tuned chaps...

Re: Korg SuperDelta
I've always liked those "two synths in one" vintage synths like the Prophet-10, JX-10 or Yamaha CS15. The CS-15 was one of the coolest synths I've owned, but it was kind of limited soundwise so I sold it, it wasn't getting as much use as it deserved, and a friend needed a 2VCO monosynth for the band he was in, so.
Re: Korg SuperDelta
Yeah I like the "double synths" too, excepted for that JX10 I tried at last 2 weeks ago: Poor flat sound...
Did youy ever try a Maxikorg? Mine gave me the idea to "double" the Delta too!
Here some pics of the definitive state, after 3 more layers of varnish and Upper Attack broken slider repair.
The baby weights 19,4 kg and the father is happy.

Yes, I tend to base my verdicts on first-hand experience.oryjen wrote:Did you ever try one?To me, it has always been one of the most horrible-sounding boxes Korg has ever come up with.
Which is exactly why I don´t like it.oryjen wrote: There's just a double MS20 MkII filter on that one, and I must say it actually sounds very close to my MS20.[...]

Oh OK I understand now... Just matter of personal taste I presume...
Well, it's right that in this first demo I tried to "push" the filters, sothat you could clearly hear the distinctive sound from each of the 4 sources...
I'll try to post soon Pads, Bass, Lead and FX demos that will show the musical ability of that powerfull and very expressive instrument.

Re: Korg SuperDelta
Yes, absolutely. I could never really warm up to the sound of the MS20 although quite a few bands I like(d) use(d) one... DAF, Liaisons Dangereuses, Einstürzende Neubauten, Der Plan...oryjen wrote:Oh OK I understand now... Just matter of personal taste I presume...[...]

Some other sounds... I searched lead sounds, then tried them on chords, and on basses.

Very nice work, beautifully engineered too. It looks great.
I will listen to the clips when I have more time.
I havnt played a Delta for a long time but when I did I liked it, had a charming sound.
