D.I.Y. Question:

Anybody done any building with the PIC-based VCDO (voltage controled digital oscillator) chips from Electric Druid?
Looks like a great starting point for a DIY synth.

I haven't tried it, but I was tipped on these a couple of months ago. I definitely want to built a custom wavetable synth, and here is the OSC all on a chip! Very versatile.

Thanks for posting this. As synthroom said, what a useful website. I haven't done any DIY in a while, though the TTSH is on the cards. The info on electricdruid has the potential to keep my soldering iron busy for quite a while...
