MOOG, perhaps, has been influenced by KORG . . .

Well in fairness the Moogerfoogers are freaking huge, these just look average sized.

I'm already jonesing for that delay 8-)

Should be legit. However, I feel that between the originals and now, there are many other offerings so for that reason, I do not think the "new" ones would sell as well. However, just like some Apple fans I know, throw them anything they will buy and is the same group that is blind to reasoning.

They're a lot cheaper than the big ones, I think there are a lot of people that would love the big ones but are put off by the cost and size, I reckon these are gonna be a hit. Even though I have an MF-104Z Ike still mind of drawn to the delay. Can't have too many delays.

These will really be a bargain on the used market in about a year. It's good to see Moog finally putting out kit at reasonable prices. I'm curious how close they will sound to their bigger brothers.

Now I don't have to hate myself for putting down for a Moog Ring Mod! Thanks!

This will come in handy to me as I can't afford to get hold of a 104z anymore, which was one of my all time favourite synth/fx items before I had to sell it. Hopefully this will be the same audio wise and quality etc, and just offer less delay time and functionality.

So no phaser, murfs, chorus/flange, or freq. But we get a filter, ring mod, tremolo, overdrive, delay, and boost. I think they'll have less CV ins/out, but it should be possible to chain them to their bigger brothers, and a few CP-251's, or any Moog Synth, so for the price they dropped down to, you can't complain on what's missing. But I doubt they'll ever have Midi, and I don't know if the other models that got left out will see a mini version. However, why do they just seem to be regular Boss pedals to me??

Looking at them in the catalog yesterday, it appears each has in, out, and expression pedal jacks.

^ A real pity that the carrier in on the ringmod is lost :(

I think these are designed to be used more as straight-up guitar pedals than the quasi-modular design from before. Smaller enclosures are popular for guitar right now (since dudes want to squeeze as many pedals as they can on a pedalboard) and you have to REALLY commit to having a Moog pedal on the board now, as they are so much larger than the average pedal right now. I think they will be popular and sell fairly well.

Yeah - my rep was pretty impressed with them as guitar pedals, something he's not usually too keen on (he's not one to hype ANYTHING, especially to me). He said he liked the delay a lot and he's already got the big boy, sooo ...

Could be fun to play with, but I'm on a short leash at the moment, so I won't be down to play with them 'til probably December when it's time for Christmas shopping. Poop.

They also left off the pre-amps, which makes guitarists happy.
But yeah, they're only "mini" in comparison with the already oversized Moogers. They're not Malekko or Mooer sized.
