If it's the real deal and not VA, I'd buy one. With only a 25-key keyboard anyway, I don't really care if it's mini or not, I'll be using an external controller, and $250 off the price of a Minibrute sounds good to me :)

Ahhhh. I was waiting for a Maxibrute (as were others), an expanded version of the Minibrute with two (or three) oscillators, a 3-4 octave keyboard, and perhaps a few additional features.

Please Arturia, :beg: forget the mini-keyboard stuff and get going with creating the Maxibrute.

This does look good, and the little patch mod corner looks cool, but it's too grainy to read exactly what the points are. It saves them money on knobs, and it gives everyone else simple flexibility without getting into modular land.

A few things I hope have been improved:
• Envelope throw. This was just off on the brute, and lots of the slider's throw was unusable in most cases.
• LFO sync issues when switching sync on/off
• Transposable sequencer

If this has 5 pin midi in and out I'm sold. If not I'll pass.

then...you'll have to buy one. ;)
It is much easier to be a good equipment purchaser than to be a great musician.

Hopefully the sequencer can be sent out via midi and cv

If this image is the real deal, it looks interesting. And at $300, how can you lose? Sync it up with your MB, and you've got a two-osc MB for less than the price of two MBs.

The only real question is, when Arturia will get around to delivering it? The release of the MB was something of a disaster (but look who I'm telling).

I found this in the comments section from one of the links posted in this thread. A size approximation comparing the Microbrute to the Minibrute :o

What does the knob below the sub- fifth knob read? Detune?

Oh right, because there is no sine/square switch. Variable over tone for sub osc is pretty neat and uncommon as far as I've seen

Yeah, looks like it's about the size of a 303 with keys. :)

I like it, for what it is and the price bloody great - may even pick one up, definitely compact and cheap both of which which is good for me right now. :D

Sure it's not going to cater to everyone, but s**t... way too much whining going on with the internet forums lately.

I mean think about it, people pay that much for bloody CS-01's, next to that it looks like a great deal to me.

I'm really warming up to this lil guy and think there will be some incredible diy hacks combining the mini and micro together.
