Cool! Wonder what it could be? From the comments on the page, it seems like a totally new synthesizer, not just an extended KB Brute, like I'd expected from them. Poly? I wonder.

I massively, massively doubt it considering all the comments about "original". It's probably an updated Minibrute, maybe they added an extra OSC or two.

Pretty much every review on that page referred to how small it was; probably a desktop module of some kind I bet. Interested to see what it ends up being.

Sure hope they put patch memory on this one, whatever it is

It would be cool to see a Brute-inspired analog groovebox with better MIDI implementation than the Brute. I could never get that thing to behave when sending MIDI notes to it. It would always drop notes/add ones that weren't there, or play three or four octaves too high. As good as it sounded, I always ended up too frustrated to play it.

Woo! But bad on Arturia for shoving something out the door before the original's bugs and issues are cleared up. Still, very exciting!

I'd try a Multibrute for sure. Imagines more voices with that awesome oscillator..*sighs*
Or even two of them. I doubt any synth has space for 3 of those monster oscillators with all the sliders.

October 25 is the day we find out, unless someone finds a leak first. None of my sources are speaking today and my guy at Arturia just sent back an email with a smilie face in it. Got my interest!

Just when I was thinking about swapping some things out for a mini brute. Now I might have to get both ;-)

I'd be with you but one quote on that page:
For me, a Synthesizer that has no presets is an adventure every time. IT is a recipe for audio joy. IT soon becomes a real electronic instrument, that develops with your knowledge and expertise
