Just visited the Japanese site http://jp.littlebits.com/synth/ (Thank you, Google Translate!) - Little Bits kits should sell for 16,000 Yen (£100), but I'm not sure if that price is for all 12 modules.

Looks like they encourage mods. Great idea… I'll have two.

Neat, but one hopes there's a way to at least put CV/gate in from a real keyboard - that button array thing might do for experimentation, but it'd be useless for playing...

Weird. But nice. :D

Reminds me of the old Arp educational modules.

Meh..

Enough with the toys, already. Give us a proper synth with proper keys that we can PLAY.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Not the annoyingly small keys. They're nearer to full-size.

Maybe - but look at it this way: the Monotrons were every bit as cramped as and even more limited than this, but it was their success that paved the way for the MS-20 Mini. As long as Korg's foray into the analog renaissance keeps bringing the goods in terms of professional, playable gear (remake or no,) I'm not going to get too huffy about the silly stuff that keeps the money coming in...

Man, this is spot on. Also, the kit is 160ish bucks. So, yeah. Want a full blown situation? BUy this like everyone else and in a year or so, it'll be here. This might be the sickest thing ever me thinks.

I would have peed my pants over this when I was twelve. Maybe not as fun as it would have been if I were younger, but still looks like a lot of fun. Marketing-wise, it's a great move too. Get 'em while their young.
