Doesn't it look Brilliant! Definitely on my buy list!
Now they need to re-issue the omni as a desktop module! I'd buy an original... but space, maintenance, availability, price... lol

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey
So many wins this NAMM, and this is definitely up there. Would love to see them carry on and do the 2600 for us mortals
Or even 2500 eurorack modules? That would be awesome.

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey
Agreed, I'd love a 2600.
I've snagged a white one on Pre-order
My friend sent me a pic from Namm of the included case, its pretty cool and retro looking.
I dont think adding drive circuit was a necessary addition, It would be nice if it's really subtle though.
Maybe it was added to help it stack up against sub 37 with its duophony and drive features.

Flick the switch and plays a duophonic demo of that Cars song.meatballfulton wrote:

Damn you namm!
I'm in for a white version.
Any one seen hide or hair of the 3rd version at other retailers?

I've seen the Black and Gold version listed at Guitar Center and Musician's Friend. All are showing $999.
So far as I can tell the white is Sweetwater only in the US.

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey
Yeah, according to some information from earlier, Sweetwater has an exclusive on the whiteface version, but they also carry the black-and-orange version; they called me up this morning to ask which I wanted.

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey
Am I the only one who thinks the rev2 looks better than the rev1?

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey
No, you're not, though I think the Rev. 3 looks better than either...

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey
I dont dig the black/orange, but strangely like it on the Arp Axxe, and would take it over the mk.1 Axxe.
The white Odyssey looks like it should be in 2001: A Space Odyssey
...In fact I always wondered if they designed it and thought the same, hence the name.

That Rich guy,
he reminds me of Julian from Trailer Park Boys!
He's very smooth, especially when he mentions the price at the end of the videos hehe
Genius project! The ARP is looking great!
