V50 Question: Disable Drum sound

Post by Smoking_Gnu » Tue Feb 25, 2014 2:20 am

Working with the presets on my Yamaha V50 here, and whenever I play notes on the upper half of the keyboard, it plays a drum (sounds like a snare) hit underneath whatever the preset happens to be. How do I disable that?

Assuming you aren't in rhythm mode here, it's probably doing this because the receive channel of the rhythm section is the same as the transmit channel of the keyboard. If you go into the setup page of the rhythm section, you can change it to a different channel and disable this.
