New Arturia something at Messe?
According to Sonicstate Arturia will be announcing a new unit at Messe. Here's a thread to speculate on what it might be.
Could be another cool little utility box like the Beatstep, but I imagine everyone's hoping it's a bigger Brute-class synth, either a two-Osc patch able thing or a poly. I think I desktop unit would be pretty great as well. What do you reckon?

Megabrute?
I just hope we see some more Poly's come out, it's a glut of mono's and not much else.

Nanobrute.
Teeny-tiny little monosynth in a box with a couple of knobs & buttons & simple display. Runs on a couple of AA batteries & fits in your top pocket

PicoBrute
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Analogue sequencer that allows one to build complex sequences via either the hardware or soft... Oh who the bloody h**l am I kidding. I can't even begin to know.
Maybe a duophonic brute?

I'm hoping it's a poly, but I have my doubts. I guess we'll see. It's great to see the analog revival with so many great options out there for monos, but there's so little out there in the analog poly world.

Maybe they're going all-out and aim to replace the Alesis Andromeda A6 as "biggest analogue polysynth since 2000"..maybe not.

Also hoping for a synth with two osc or something not necessarily bigger but with more features, although i think they'll drop the ''Brute'' name.

Of course it will be nothing like anyone of us can imagine, and everyone will go "f*** you arturia" when it's revealed as another software package.

i'd love to see a drum machine from them that's not tethered to computers like the spark/le

Re: New Arturia something at Messe?
A minature cheap version of the Origin at a more accessible price with some originally programmed patches...i.e. to focus on sounding good instead of trying to imitate a vintage piece of gear...I mean...that. I would like to see the real power of their digital chips with properly original calculations(*versus emulations*)of their best programmers.
That would be cool...not to go after sounding like a revered or vintage piece of history...but to just focus on how to get it to sound unique and good.
In a price that is accessible so if one likes it...they can stack the origin mini like a Desktop Evolver or tetra. I would dig it...even if you had to load the more complex patches via usb. 4 outs, 2 inputs USB...

Semi modular with separate sequencer unit.
