The wooden sides make it sound warmer.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

So, a fancy 88-key MIDI keyboard and a repackaging of an existing synth. I r disappoint.

It's called the "SE"? "Special Edition"? Yes? So WHY STILL 25 KEYS? ?
Comparison is the thief of joy.

It looks like the sequencer has some additional functions that the Micro doesn't have. It's hard to read the lettering in this photo, but that's what it looks like.

Because it's a different edition, not a different synth.

The Mopho SE has an extra octave of keys.

The Moog Voyager and Little Phatty Special Editions didn't. Either does the Minibrute SE.

On the other hand, the Little Phatty and Voyager already had reasonably-sized keyboards. The Minibrute kinda doesn't.

I'm disappointed it's not a brand new offering but to be honest this'll finally convince me to get one.

:dontknow:

So you're saying Special Edition in some way is dependent on how many keys a synth has? I'm pretty sure that's not what the words mean. Oh, and the Mopho SE is just the Mopho SE, it doesn't say Special Edition on it anywhere.
