BEST LIGHTS?? (Let's face it - lights is good?!)
What's your favourite synth - based on just the lights - seriously!!
For me:
• that KingKorg looks pretty funky at start up
• I just bought a 'Korgasm Radi-a*s' - lots of illumination there - trippy
• I used to love the little 'test sequence' on my old MemoryMoog! (that could trigger an epileptic fit)
C'mon - when you cover your eyes and just look - what do you think LOOKS the coolest?

I'm looking forward to the arrival of my System-1 ...it and the TR-8 are the most lit pieces of gear I've ever owned.
and they aren't synths but my controller setup consisting of a Push, an APC40 and set of AudioCubes is very blinky.

I'm a fan of the Jupiter 6, that thing looks like a spaceship in the dark

Mono Evolver Keyboard is pretty cool, especially the start up.

I'm a sucker for synths that can rival any Christmas tree, but I've never owned anything too crazy. Probably the best light show I have is from the orange lit buttons on my V Synth.
And of course, any thread about synth lights needs to mention rhino's AX80: http://www.vintagesynth.com/forum/viewt ... 15#p470374

The Alesis Ion I had years back is probably the most lit up synth I've ever had.

Another vote for the Radias, that sucker is blinding!
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Not mine, but kinda makes me miss my Voyager. However mine was a performer edition that didn't light up...which now that I think about it seems a bit ironic.

This also seems a bit ironic to me...william wrote:C'mon - when you cover your eyes and just look - what do you think LOOKS the coolest?

Am I the only one?

In any case, cool thread william.
