That's part of the reason it pisses me off so much. Not only has he had your Juno forever, he has you (and others, I'm sure) in this awful situation of "what the h**l do I do!?" I know I'd have that dilemma if it was me, conflicting thoughts of what action(s) to take, which I'm sure is stressful enough on its own, and especially when the guy has your awesome, classic synth (that's not exactly cheap these days, either).

And that email and followup... wow. I really really hope you get your 106 back. He better not be scamming people in order to sell their synths, whole or for parts.

It was a really good idea of you to put your experience up here, could let potential customers of his know what he's doing. Maybe it could even create or add to (most likely add to, it's probably already there) some heat/pressure and get him to finally get it done and back to you

If he's got time to make a fancy little modded 106 to sell on ebay he ought to have fixed yours by now.

BTW, all those ebay links in the previous messages only bring to the main site, not to an item. I don't know if its what you wanted to show, or the full link was cut out by some sort of moderation hickup.

Why does he continue to take in orders? He should go out of business just to get a reality check.

Ponzi scheme? He probably doesn't even realize that's what he's doing but if takes new money to sustain that's essentially what it is.

Syntegrator. Victoria BC, Canada. He's your guy.

I sent my JX3P to him. It was fixed and had the Kiwi upgrade installed in two days.

TWO days.

Hi Guys,

It's Allen from the SynthSpa. I'll start posting pics of sent boards here just like I have in other forums. I'll post proof of synths going out the door. I have not harvested any boards for parts as we don't need to . We make our own, so that's not necessary. Every one is getting their gear back. I've had a bad intestinal illness last year , heart problems, and I lost two tech's months ago which caused these cascading late boards. I'm doing what I can to get out of this mess. We are actually almost there. but you'll see that as I post. Some of the synths we are talking about are custom synths which do take longer. But for the normal repairs for that I apologize. I've tried not to have very many of those , but the ones that have been out for too many months , there's no excuse, and I will make it up to each and every one I have been late with. I'll post tonight with pics if I can navigate this new to me site.

Hi Guys, It's Monday night. I'll be posting here weekly , as often as every day so you can see synths going out the door.

Tonights finished work; Andy. H. Custom green 106. ( I've attached the pic, I hope you can see it. )

Nope. Best bet is probably to upload pics somewhere like Photobucket and then copy the link for that file into a post here.

I wouldn't be taking on any new jobs until you are all caught up. Also it would ease customers anxiety if you didn't make them send you their synth and pay upfront for repairs. That's not the way any synth tech I've ever heard of operates.

Synthparts, Yes understood. I know you've mentioned this before. I give the option for not paying everything up front when I'm building a synth for someone. There is money involved in the purchase of the synth , so I need to charge something.

With repair sales on EBAY, it's difficult to make a half transaction. And on the website , I pay for the shipping, so something needs to be charged up front there too. But when the website gets rebuilt, I will probably use your suggestion and do only 50% up front and then settle up at the end. Normally it wouldn't be a problem if these synths were on time. They used to be! from 2010-mid2012.

Most of our normal repairs are actually now meeting the 6-8 week turn around times I've given, A few did fall behind. We are working on those but they are no where close to the 6 months etc... that people had been complaining about. in a few short weeks we will be all caught up with normal repairs. Then all that remains are the 10-15 ( customs, super customs and late polysix's we were waiting for our new CPU board to fix) I'm setting up something so everyone can see the pics. Tonights finished work Gage R. - full restoration Juno 106. I'll attempt again to attach a pic.
