Chill, manuals are always in PDF format which are readable on any platform that has a PDF reader. He was joking.

Korg added a 2nd video on the product page .....sigh , no new real info however .
I'm really curious about the oscillator and fx types and if it does have a " song mode " or not ......

Some wish to leave their mark ... I want to leave a scar .

More Electribe demo tracks from some dude named Michael Sean O'Connor performing as Cross Angel

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

that last one sounds kind of wavetabley?
But other than that I didnt hear anything that would make me want to run out and buy anything. Lots of preset-core. And not a lot of 'this is what this button does'

Re-Member wrote:The manual for the non-sampling Electribe is now up on Korg's support website. I combed through it and couldn't find any mention of a "Song Mode" for the sequencer, which to me, is a major let down. So even though it might be a fun device to jam out ideas on, recreating full length songs in a live situation will require you to switch the patterns manually. Luckily, there's a mode where the 16 pads can be set to switch patterns on the fly, so I'm still on the fence here. Maybe a system update will add a Song Mode in the future.
I read the manual again and there actually is a Song Mode.... it's just not labeled as such and functions a little differently. There's a mode called "Event Recording" and what you do is record a live session of yourself switching between patterns manually while doing all your mute functions, tempo changes and other sequencer operations by hand. Once you press stop, it saves the recorded "session" to a memory card as an individually labeled file which you can load again later to play back everything you did automatically. You can probably save hundreds of song sessions depending on the size of the memory card you're using.

The new Electribe looks great, but the lack of song mode really sucks. Yeah, and only 4 bars is a bummer as well. I'll still buy it, but why, why, why these ommisions?
