So you dont consider the step sequencer an artistic tool I guess?

How do I make ratcheting by hand btw?

Using MIDI with the MS-20 Mini only allows for note sequencing. Telling someone they should just use their hands totally ignores the fact that a CV sequencer is capable of controlling much more than that. Buchla, anyone?

A good point to bring up. in fact - the electroharmonix 8-step that was mentioned earlier... I purchased ages ago for such a reason and I use it with my MS-20 mini alot. it is a nice and very affordable cv sequencer. never really ever touch the thing for pitch.

Clockworks is also very cool..plan on getting one soon:
