Korg MS-20 Drum Machines

Post by we_squirm » Sun Nov 16, 2014 11:14 pm

Hello,

I just recently bought an original Korg MS-20 and an SQ-10. What kind of drum machines can I get to sync with them?

Drum machines which have an analogue clock input or output, or drum machines with midi in or out if you have a midi to clock convertor. That's pretty much almost every drum machine ever made. :thumbleft:

It doesn't seem to work with my Boss DR-55, which is why I asked.

No midi for me.

Actually I think you can sync the MS20 and SQ10 from the CSQ sync output on the DR-55. I've never tried it myself but it should work theoretically.

Yeah, but you need to convert it into an S-trigger. Try via the MS20 ESP.
