Not a straight clone, but looks interesting nevertheless. $$$$ though...
Big improvement, I liked a-124 better than both diode filter clones I've used.
We'll always be remembered, we'll always be dismembered.

It seriously is. Not cheap though.

Yeah, I highly recommend it! I only wish there was CV over the "notch" morphing...

This would be an instant cash cow. The original are very rare due to build quality and numbers. If a company like KORG got the rights they could use the technology from the volca keys keyboard and make it larger and keep the step sequencer and then just use the original circuit designs from EDP. Add MIDI IN and keep the price near 349 and they would sell a bajillion. Then do a Special edition for 499 with patch memory and midi out + usb. And also a gnat, volca size and spec for 199.

I know I would buy 1 of each and stare at them all day long.

I like the wasp.

If a kickstarter campaign could get the molds and pcbs for this, I would do it.

There was a Wasp with a real keyboard, too...although something like what's used on the Volcas would probably do.

The filter is based around a CMOS hex inverter? That's hilarious, sure kept the cost down (a 4069 chip cost about a quarter in quantity). I had a Sunn guitar amp that used that same chip for overdrive.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

But, the keyboard! With that real keyboard you don't get the amazing random triggering from stage lights

You're describing the Novation Bass Station 2.

Maybe so, at least for the 'special', But I would like to see (hear) an exact replica made today. With only the original circuit designs and controls(no special sauce added on). The only upgrade would need to be the shoddy keyboard, but to something still capacitive for those wild finger slides :keys1: :dancer:

 Well, you never know. Actually I know of someone who has one, and I'm curious to try it. That left hand section of the keyboard interests me. It's a potentially interesting idea - maybe.
