I don't know who "Humbucker Music" is, and apparently they don't know who any of you are, either.

I think all of these responses are perfect.
This thread is basically spam to get people to join their mailing list, I'm seriously considering deleting it. Or at least removing the link in the OP.

Definitly kill the link. The aluminum discussion was fun...

(I mean, you know, imho, lol)
This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...

They are an online retailer of mostly guitars/amps, and they also sell Moog. But a search would have told you that. They like to carry "special edition Surf Green" items, so maybe it's a Surf Green Voyager.

EuroracK? They'll invent the DollarRack so they don't have to deal with exchange rates...

The spacing of the rails will be 6 inches, the length of a dollar. All items will only cost a dollar for the DollarRack. They say this is to keep it all "Built in the USA" but it will all really be cheap c**p made in China.

Why hasn't Apple come out with Transparent Aluminium yet? We all know that Mr. Scott left the formula for it with Apple back in 1986! As well as the technology for Siri, as he was greatly disappointed that you could not talk to your computers' mouse. "Computer... Computer... Hello, Computer..."

That's Mr. Scott, Woz (that year he shaved his beard off just for fun), and Dr. McCoy.

Hello all,

My name is Jake and I'm the owner of Humbucker Music. Just so you know the reasoning behind our post, I asked our marketing guy (who is also our website and photography guy) to make an announcement in some synth forums about the upcoming news from Moog. While it is indeed designed to get people to sign up for our Moog Club (not our normal newsletter, just the Moog Club newsletter), the main purpose is absolutely not just that. There really is something extremely cool that's going to be announced by Moog on Monday. Surf Green Voyager? That literally made me laugh out loud when I read that. Not a bad guess coming from us, but that's not it. :) I have a confidentially agreement with Moog, so I can't reveal too much, but I'll give a few hints just for the fun of it.

1) It's not exclusive to Humbucker Music at all, but it will not be available to all Moog dealers. Only a select few.
2) It's definitely not for everyone.
3) It's not another Voyager.
4) It's not a drum machine, but I would like that to happen so much it's not funny!

As for who we are, Humbucker Music is primarily a high end guitar and amp shop who also sells Moog Music products. We have been a dealer since 2000 (the Big Briar days) and have consistently been one of the top dealers in the country. Truth is, I own 3 guitars, but I have about 25 vintage and newer synths. Amps are even more of a passion, but that's a different story. I'm afraid if I count them my wife will find out. I keep them hidden the best I can. haha!

Anyway, I don't know if it means anything to any of you, but I just thought I'd fill you in a little more about us and the reason for the post. Thanks for reading this far!

Oh, and we're waiting on a new shipment of t-shirts. They were a little more popular than we anticipated. Heck, an XS won't even fit on my arm. :D

"Definately not for everyone" goes for all Moog products :) Only for those with lots of money like P.Diddy or Jordan Rudess.

At least the dude came through to give a bit of background. A lot better than most places that drop links and bail.

A drum machine would be cool, but I doubt Moog could hit the price point which has been set between Korg, Akai, and Roland. Look at how disappointed most people were with their $2000 tempest...

Moog is overrated IMO. The best mono synths ever built are the Mono/Poly, MS20, Pro One, and OSCar
bonne chance

also for whatever is worth, in the latest issue of future music there is a moog factory tour video, and at the end the guy says that they can't show the warehouse or some part of it because they have a surprise for namm stored there...
