Jake, I'm sure you're a nice guy and you run a fine company. But that doesn't mean that your post isn't spam. You have made exactly two posts on this forum, both of which are promoting your business. Nothing wrong with promoting, but let's call it like it is: it's an unsolicited commercial message on a forum.

Besides, I subscribe to Moog's e-mail newsletter. I'm sure Moog will make this earth-shaking announcement before its dealers do. No matter how much Moog loves its dealer network, it isn't going to allow them to make an announcement as monumental as this (or, at least you've said it's pretty monumental).

So I don't need to sign up for Humbucker's newsletter to get the announcement. And that brings me back to my original point....

Why hasn't Apple come out with Transparent Aluminium yet? We all know that Mr. Scott left the formula for it with Apple back in 1986! As well as the technology for Siri, as he was greatly disappointed that you could not talk to your computers' mouse. "Computer... Computer... Hello, Computer..."
You've heard that the iWatch will have a sapphire screen, right? Have you ever looked up what sapphire is?

Yup, aluminum oxide.

Well, I seriously doubt they set the news to go live at midnight.

Didn't a similar thing happen not so long ago and turn out to be nothing special. I swear it was also concerning moog.

You should seriously consider throwing away your calendar and getting a proper one ;) .

I don't think this is what they were talking about, but Moog just sent me an email about a recall on Voyagers made between 2010 and 2013 that had some faulty components. Seriously.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

A modern day reissue of the Polymoog 203A but with a modicum of reliability? 8-)

Well this email from Moog Tech Support came in my mail today.
Don't think it's quite what folks are looking for, and I'm sure it has nothing to do with the big announcement at Moog, but thought Voyager owners who aren't registered may want to know.
Mods, please delete if this info is inappropriately posted here.

Dear Registered Owner of the Minimoog Voyager:

Thank you for being a Moog customer and owning our finest hand-built analog synthesizer, the Minimoog Voyager. Moog Music has a reputation for making world class instruments and we expect them to give you a lifetime of musical pleasure. Whenever this experience is compromised, we must take steps to rectify the issue as soon as it is known to us.

It has come to our attention that an isolated number of Minimoog Voyager Analog Boards built between mid-2010 and January 2013 may have been populated with faulty IC’s. The intermittent nature of these faulty IC’s was not captured during our Total Quality Control program at the factory. Please know that the potentially faulty IC’s were replaced in Minimoog Voyager production beginning January 2013, as such we are confident in the reliability of the product we are shipping today.

If you are the original owner of a registered Minimoog Voyager (any model) purchased between mid-2010 and January 2013, and experience any of the following issues, please contact Moog service (andy@moogmusic.com or 828-251-0090 x221) or your international service center and we will service your Minimoog Voyager as soon as possible:

• All oscillators are subsonic or inaudible

• An oscillator no longer works

• One or both filter channels no longer works

• Envelopes trigger incorrectly

• Switches no longer trigger audible sonic changes

• Mod buss no longer functional

• Source/Destination assignment no longer functional

• Loss of pitch control
• Failure to trigger via keyboard or MIDI
• LFO will no longer sync to keyboard or MIDI
• Oscillator Wave Shaping section no longer works

Thank you for your continued support of Moog Music.
