Re: eBay Buyer from h**l!
You can get negative feedback removed.
I once had a buyer who dinged me with negative feedback because she did not receive the item she bid on and I dd not respond to her numerous emails.
The auction ended at 4:30 pm on a Friday afternoon and she left me the negative feedback at 9:00 that night.
She expected her Start Trek book to make it from Lforida to New Mexico in less than four hours after auction ended.
Nutcase.

Re: eBay Buyer from h**l!
I seem to remember there being a feature which allowed you to block users from buying or bidding if they didn't have a certain amount of positive feedback. I also remember some feature that only allowed users with verified PayPal accounts access to buy your items. It's been a few years since I've sold anything, but I've sold well over 300 items in the past fifteen years without any kind of problems on my end. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've dealt with flakier people locally on Craigslist (trying to talk down a price, offering trades I don't want, not showing up, trying to pay with checks when I asked for cash, etc.)

Yes, I agree that's the most worrisome aspect of eBay's "the buyer is always right" policy.plikestechno wrote:The thing I'm most worried about with buyer protection is that people sending it back won't pack it/treat it as nice as you so now you don't have the money, the synth is busted up and you're out the Ebay and reverse shipping fees.

Yeah, he actually said "f-ing" but this new filter that the forum uses turns all f-bomb variations into "f**k."Dr. Phibes wrote:Don't mess with the f**k police.

"The F**k Police" would be a good band name.

Yes, it would! You could also form an N.W.A. tribute band called "f**k Tha Police."commodorejohn wrote:"The F**k Police" would be a good band name.

what a complete turd. a paranoid persecution complex is bad enough without heaping platinum grade arrogance on top of it. i shudder to breathe the same air as these kinds of toxic individuals. not to put too fine a point on it or anything!
the only positive out of all this is the fact someone replied to one of this moron’s many pieces of frothing feedback, calling them an “Unreasonable Buyer From Pit of h**l”

Re: eBay Buyer from h**l!
OK, so I got the unit back today. It gets even worse:
-- First off, he enclosed a note saying, "you are worthless scum."
-- He intentionally punched holes in the box. In fact, the tip of the pen that
he used broke off inside the box and was inside when I received it.
-- He ruined the manual -- obviously, intentionally. This costs $45 to replace.
-- And lastly, I believe that he opened the unit. All of the screws have
scratches on them now.

holy s**t.
Dude, that is CRAZY. Absolutely CRAZY.
Never in over a dozen years has anybody done THAT to me on ebay...
I'm sorry, but I can't stop laughing! This is ridiculous! Thankfully you got it back.

Re: UPDATE: eBay Buyer from h**l!
Haha! I'm surprised the note wasn't spelled out with glued magazine letter clippings. What a nutcase. Seeing how the screws have scratches on them, you might want to check if anything is missing inside the unit. I wouldn't put it past a lunatic such as this to have bid on it solely for the sake of swapping parts or something like that, then giving you some excuse like, "oh, it was damaged in the mail."
