Don't get too hung up on the "recreation" aspect of it. Dave's new discrete filter section sounds so sweet, and I welcome any polysynth with those filters in it, be it something new or something referencing the past. This shouldn't be a "yet another", this will be IT.

And I am so incredibly happy about the knob-per-function interface, no menus. Thank you Dave! It looks perfect. I will be pre-ordering this as soon as it shows up.

They have a dedicated Sequential site http://www.sequential.com so maybe over time they'll have new releases from DSi and Sequential...

Cool and bookmarked, this is the best thing out of Namm 2015 so far IMO

I'm guessing Dave either is licensing the Sequential name from Wine Country or got the name back. It went from him to Yamaha in the late 80's after the VS, then to Wine Country around 97.

I hope he got the rights, because WC isn't deserving of it.

It sounds very much like my Korg Trident which I think is the sweetest sounding synth ever.

Looks as though Wine Country still have Sequential Circuits Dotcom so be interesting to hear what the story is behind the naming rights.

The hilarious thing is Roland could make a Jupiter 9 tomorrow now as there's already virtually one voice of it in their newest synth :D ! It's like some sort of drunk party for synth fans.

Love that simple JX-3P / SH-101 style sequencer. ...think the Pro One also had something similar. Wish the Arp had relatch. Nice instrument, thanks Dave!

The new Yamaha CS-90... Why sit down at a synth, when you can walk inside? Featuring a brand new 360 degree control surface. Trailer hitch for easy gigging sold separately! The Yamaha cs-90: tons of features. Literally.
This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...
