The DRM1 mkIII is actually incredibly good value. For US$825 you get an eight voice, knob-per-function, incredibly flexible drum synth. That's just over $100 per voice for something that sounds amazing, what else is there that can compete with that?

I wasn't talking about drum machines. Vermona's Mono Lancet seemed very overpriced to me -- over $600 for a single-oscillator monosynth with no keyboard. Something with so many more features is bound to be in the 2,000 euro range (I'm using a euro price tag because I doubt we'll ever see it in the States). But I guess we just have to see what the MSRP turns out to be.

Looks like a rad synth. I don't think Vermona is too pricey, I paid ~$600 for my Retroverb lancet and it's definitely worth it. Great build quality and an amazing sound. I think the Perfourmer is a great buy too.

I think this will be a great synth at a great price. Their stuff is good value for money and sounds excellent.
First off, it looks fab
Second, it has some nice features but stays simple enough to be immediate.
Third, for us in Euroland, we are going to suffer from anything imported. The euro being low makes anything coming in extra pricey. This coming from a German company is useful.
Looking forwards to this one.

can't see if I/O is basic or is there a row of CV jacks back there..."The analog synthesizer is a full-blown version of the Lancet module." from google translate suggests that it will give "aural" pleasure, but nothing about whether it will have copious CV or not
