I actually preferred the ones that said "Sequential Circuits".

The original Prophet 5 is my choice - all that wood is so sensual! Especially the ones with the Koa wood cases.

My runner up is the Jupiter 8 - those rainbow buttons on the front and the linear layout of the front panel just looks cool to me.
Fairlight IIx (Mid-Life Crisis - cheaper than a Corvette!)
Roland JP-8, D-50, S-50, S-550(2x), S-760(2x), JX-3P, JD-800
EII, Emax II, Minimoog, ARP 2600, P-5 Rev.1 (broken...), Pro-One, Crumar Performer, K1m, K5m, MS-2000B, Virus KC, a few other things.

I too am surprised at some of the choices... though as I said previously, it is all so subjective. Still, I think some of you are just choosing your favorite synths over what is actually the sexiest looking synth (from an aesthetic/design perspective.) Otherwise, you'd all agree with my choice of the Waldorf Wave!

 Ok, maybe I too am guilty of choosing my favorite synth, but it [the Wave] is aesthetically beautiful compared to say, an organ or a Minimoog, which is actually just sort of ugly from a industrial design perspective. (And yes, I studied industrial design, maybe that's my problem!)

So here is another one that I think is sexy looking just based on it's rarity and complexity... I give you the Analyzátor a syntezátor zvuku... or simply, the ASYZ!

Image

P.S. I also do think the Jupiter 8, ARP Odyssey MKIII and the Access Virus synths along with the new Modulus 002 are beautifully designed as well.

I get the sense people are choosing their favorite synths as well. And who listed the Korg odyssey and not the Arp odyssey? For shame... But it is all a matter of aesthetic preference to a certain degree. The wave looks busy to me, and almost has the look of a cheap running shoe. Hard to beat the JP-8 though, and the Juno 60 has a lot of similarities, so I can agree on that one as well.
This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...

Here's the MT32 minus display, the CM32L. So Zen!

When you can take the mod wheel out of my hand, grasshopper...

The MT32 was a total object of lust for me in 1989 I'm ashamed to say.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
