Well over eight minutes in length, probably going to wrap it up today. \o/

Yeah, mine is running long, too. I'm probably not going to make the deadline. Every time I think I'm getting to the end, it tells me "hey, I'm not done yet. I still have more to say."
And it keeps changing direction, so I'm not sure it even fits into this category any more. Count me out, but I'll post the song in the Listening Lounge when I'm done.

My entry is ready to go.
How should I post it?
Ninja, I've sent you a private message, tell me what you think.
Cheers.

I have two tracks that I have recently done that fit right into this category - and did them without even knowing
Now, do I only get one submission? so I need to choose - or can I put up both?
Also ... I might even do a third - just because I wanna have some dolphins

Re: March competition '15: New age-dolphin-crystal-healing s
Seems like ninja hasn't been on the forum since at least the 18th, so I'm thinking if he hasn't responded by Friday I will setup a soundcloud and distribute log-in info so we can get this ball rolling.
If everybody is cool with it I will post here when I have things setup Friday evening or Saturday AM and people can PM for log-in info to post their tracks - I'll give it a couple days for people to get their stuff posted and then I can make a voting thread
Sound like a plan? Interested in hearing what people have come up with

Re: March competition '15: New age-dolphin-crystal-healing s
What I was suggesting to ninja is that there is already a Soundcloud group of Vintage Synth Explorer, with almost 700 members. A good side is that it would boost the audience of the tracks posted, and it would work as much as any other group. I am the group moderator, and have recently done a big clean up there and set new track submissions to moderated only. For this contest, I would pass the group temporarily to his control in order to manage the entries.
The group link is: http://soundcloud.com/groups/vintage-sy ... ers/tracks
Maybe we should organize a system of identifying the tracks in the name or by adding the tags.
Infinity, if you like the idea PM me.

Re: March competition '15: New age-dolphin-crystal-healing s
We generally do the competitions voting based on a poll thread, so unless the people listening on the group come here to vote, seems a moot point, no?
We usually just setup a disposable email account and make a soundcloud account and people upload to that. We make a poll in a voting thread with links to the songs and people vote that way

It's best to maintain what already works, then.
In any case, I could repost the competition entries in the soundcloud group when the call is closed and the poll begins. It would work the same.
