Thank you for using this!pietro909 wrote:Hi akastuystudio,
First, congratulations for having done such an impressive editor for the JV-1080. It’s wonderfully beautiful! I used it on my JV-1080 and it is so much easier to edit with your software than on the device itself with the front panel buttons.
I have two questions:
1) in order to run your software I downloaded the MAX application, it is now at version 7 but I could not find the runtime version only. It seems a full version with 30 days trial. Any idea how to use runtime only and then is a license still necessary to buy ?
2) I like the impressive big panel where every parameter of the common and 4 parts can be edited with dragging the mouse on the value but is it possible to assign any of these parameters to a midi controller instead of the mouse ? I have seen in your video that you use a Korg nanoKontrol 2 controller. I actually have the exact same controller and I was wondering how I can control multiple parameters in your editor with this device.
Thank you so much for reply and kudos again for this superb editor !
If your system is OK for installing older version of Max, I recommend Max5 or Max6. Because it is made with Max5.
Please google this words “max5 runtime” then jump to Older Max software download page.
After page appeared, find out “Max/MSP/Jitter 5” down the page.
Below the “Max/MSP/Jitter 5” line. You can’t miss “Download Mac Runtime 5.1.9” and “Download Windows Runtime 5.1.9”
Now I’m still building this editor about MIDI-control and Rhythm Editor. But I have a good time for child-rearing. Please give me a few time.
