So, instead of a Band-In-A-Box, you get Band-In-A-Cavern?

The Cavern club in Liverpool is where the Beatles started, hence the name. Here is a video of the new cr@p arranger keyboard we now know as the Korg Liverpool. And I don't think this is the product that was initially teased as "EDM Life Synth"; still something else coming...

Sorry, Korg, but your version of "A Hard Day's Night" isn't as good as this one from a mid '80s Canadian beer ad.

Link to the 'Liverpool Professional Arranger' leads to a (and I quote) 'Page could not found' 404 error, however.

It appears to be a special edition of the Micro Arranger with a UK flag on top...
Photo just leaked on the internets...

Yep, that very picture was displayed on the first link I posted yesterday. Today, there are other pics where it used to be  .

Second link still doesn't work...
Don't forget to TURN ON THE SYNTHESIZER. Often this is the reason why you get no sound out of it. - ARP 2600 manual, 1971

I'm still interested in this Minilogue idea. It would most likely have minikeys. Perhaps it is a new synth design based on a revamped microkorg w/ analog oscillator(s) + filter(s).

They spelled it *logue it could be a catalogue of things past. It is not likely an all-in-one polysix, mono-poly, and poly-800 and Wavestation all under the same hood. But I like that idea. Imagine trying to edit Wavestation patches on a mini-LCD, or worse, without an LCD. So maybe it doesn't have the Wavestation. Didn't stop Yamaha from doing FM patching on that tiny Reface screen. But mini-keys, I wish there were some way around that part.

That's no arranger, that's looking like something cool.
EDIT: I just looked up the PA4X, it does look like that. :/

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Seriously. This has to be a joke.

Did Korg lose a bet with Paul McCartney?

Having heard the Liverpool @ youtube and soundcloud, it sounds like dull 90's MIDI-files. :(

That's only because there were no MIDI files in the 1960s

I thought noone knew who the Beatles were any more?

I don't think this particular forum represents the "young and hip" crowd anyway :D

Except for Marc Doty
