Stupid money, yes. Crappy sounds, no.

Well, not quite anyway.

Well I'd love to be proven wrong, just seems all the demos out there sound like a dodgy string machine.

Yeah actually, what about the VC-10? That would be an oddball to reissue :D

its not going to be a new/reissue synth - they'll save that for one of the big conventions. Just like everyone's said, it'll probably be an full size Oddy kit. $1999.

The barman says "That's 60 quid"

The first minikey says "but I've only got 49 notes".

The barman says, "you are a little short".

The second minikey says "no need to be crotchety about it."

If I were to go by most demos on the internet, basically every synthesiser would have to be a heap of dung.

Well, to me AG's demo of PS3100 sounds nothing like a string-machine ;-)

I can't name any demo (and if I could it would probably have been made by myself) but you might want to give "Cités Analogues" by Lightwave a try, as well as "In Course Of Time" by Zanov or "Aquarhythmies" by Richard Vimal. Lots of textural work done on the 3300.

Probably so -- and they'll make 1,000 of each color. Hence, the limited run of 3,000.
