A synth that is recorded slightly louder than the other will sound "warmer". A tiny bit of input distortion can also color the sound to sound "oomphier" than another synth.
What a load of rubbish. The input distortion thing is based in truth but the rest is pure fantasy.

Great demos Genshi, I've not had GAS of any great portent, but this thing sounds better every time I see and hear it.

I thought my sub37 was gonna quench my thirst....
