Loaded soundset into Waldorf Blofeld...
I loaded a soundet into my Blofeld and it replaced every factory patch, which I don't mind to an extent. My question is, since I thought it could hold a ton of presets, can I add some of the factory patches back without removing any of the new soundset sounds? I don't have the License SL installed.

Blofled sysex files specify which of the banks (A, B, etc.) to load the sounds into. Without an actual librarian, there's no way to control where the patches go so what gets overwritten depends on how the sysex file was coded.
Do you know which banks your new patches were loaded into?
Of course, Waldorf provides no librarian
Most of the freeware editors have no librarian functions.
This one for Windows does have a rudimentary librarian you can experiment with. It's not very intuitive how to save and load files, so back up all your data before loading anything new into the synth. Get it here, it's a bit clunky and the instructions are minimal. But you can reorganize patches into new banks.
Rekon Audio sells a Blofeld VST/AU Editor that can be run as a plugin or standalone. It's $80 and there is no demo to try before you buy. It does have a librarian built in and from screen shots it's much more refined than the free one above. This one is Mac or Windows.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Thanks! The Rekon editor looks good, but for $80 it's hard to pull the trigger on it. Has anyone used this?

If you have an iPad, Patch Morpher is $10 (in IAP) and think a good. It's handy since you can directly connect an iPad to Blofeld via a USB cable.
