3rd time lucky. What have you bought several times?

Post by dkhbrit » Sun Mar 06, 2016 3:16 am

I just bought a Triton for the 3rd time. I've been stressing about my small setup, mostly that whatever I do I'm always trying to get things to where I can switch everything on and just noodle. I just don't have time to mess around. So, it's back to the trusty Triton as my controller and center of my setup. It just works and I know it like an old friend (for the most part). Now I have one again I can't think why I sold 2 of them previously. Circumstances probably. I told my wife if I ever talk about selling it again she needs to kick me hard in the bollocks.

I've had two JX-10s so far. The first one I had was actually the first analog synth I ever owned, but then after about five years I got tired of it and traded it for a Korg 01/WFD, which I promptly sold and then used the money to get a Juno-106. I'm on my second one now and once again I'm finding that I'm growing tired of it. I could go ahead and sell it and use the money to save up for an OB-6, but right now I'm planning an overhaul for it as it's not exactly in the best shape.
Had: DX7, AX-60, SR-16, Yamaha TQ5, 01/WFD, Juno-106, MG-1, JX-03
Want: OB-6, Prophet 6, Jupiter-6
