My JP8 demos(mp3 files) from 2008-2009 before I sold it:

Pads
Strings
Demo
I am no longer in pursuit of vintage synths. The generally absurd inflation from demand versus practical use and maintenance costs is no longer viable. The internet has suffocated and vanquished yet another wonderful hobby. Too bad.

Indeed the brass swells immediately reminded me of this!

It is.

Johannes Schmoelling still owns (and uses) his with LOOM.

Literally saved the day when he entered the stage and played some classic TD stuff, backed by Robert Waters and Jerome Froese.

Jupiter 8 demos?
I don't know if it's "nice" but I did this demo a few years ago:

http://pushpull.ch/audio/Push-Pull%20-% ... rthage.mp3

All sounds are from the JP-8 except the drums sounds, of course. No compressor, no chorus, just reverb and sometimes a little delay.

For the "ahh" pad of the begining and the big theme, I've used the dual layer mode.
The making of my modular... (ok it's in french, but the pictures are easy to understand !)

Excellent! Great to hear a piece featuring so much analogue synthesizer. Are all the analogue parts the Jupiter 8? Hate comparing original work to well known composers - always feel it's a bit of a put down - but hope you don't mind me nevertheless saying I hear echoes of Vangelis, and Synergy (Electronic Realisation) in your piece; though just 'echoes' (metaphorically) - it's clearly your own piece. Thanks for sharing.
