Is there a way to sequence with an iPad?

I have a Juno 60 and thinking about a DX7. I want to see if I can sequence into iPad?

In the past-1997-99, I used Cakewalk.

Can you do it on an iPad nowadays? Maybe from a 12 channel mixer to iPad?

There are lots of sequencers for the iPad, just type in "MIDI sequencer" in the iTunes store.

Does your Juno 60 have a MIDI retrofit? If not, you will need a MIDI-DCB box like the Roland MD-8 or Kenton Pro-DCB.

The "12 channel mixer" really doesn't have anything to do with MIDI sequencing. The mixer allows you to "mix" several audio sources into your amp and/or recording device.
