Analog mixer for Recording: Soundcraft 200b or Yamaha RM800

Postby NCChao1268 » Sun Feb 11, 2018 2:03 am

Hi guys

I have the opportunity to obtain either a Soundcraft 200B for $200-250 or a Yamaha RM800 ($250-300)both 24 channel. Just wondering if any of you have experience with either of those mixers and which one would you prefer for a recording situation. Is the Soundcraft 200B more of a live mixer? Which one sounds warmer? which has less noise?

Thanks,
-Nathan
