Mastering albums...what should I charge?

Post by fOZf8 » Sun Jan 04, 2009 9:26 pm

I'm hoping there are some vets out there who could give me some advice. I'm starting up a mastering service...I've met many people in the Milwaukee area already willing to pay me for my services, and hope to integrate the services into my website as well...but to be blunt, I have no idea what to charge per song and/or album. Any suggestions?

Have you checked some of the online services like eMasters or XARC as a start? Check their prices and maybe call around to others in your area pretending to need something master and go from there.
