MIDI Hub Preferences?
I seem to have destroyed my cheap plastic M-audio Midisport USB device by dropping it 2 feet off a desk, so I figure now is as good a time as any to upgrade. What modest, 2-4 port MIDI hubs does VSE approve of?

I'm no official VSE spokesperson but the MOTU micro Express is awesome.
http://www.motu.com/products/midi/micro_usb
It has software that allows you patch the MIDI routings.
Very easy to use...the front display shows the active MIDI ports....
Inexpensive and very effective.

Sure that one's still in production? I was looking around for a midi patchbay a few months ago no webshops seemed to have it (in Europe anyway), only the one without patchbay capabilities.

Yeah I've had good experiences with Motu Midi interfaces.

That looks like a very handy device. I've had an M Audio MIDIsport 4x4 for about 7 years, totally reliable.
