Hi guys!
I'm searching a good reverb for my trance tracks, since the reverb of the ks-rack is a bit shitty..
Do you think the M-One is a good choice? I would like to have mainly longs and clear reberbs for my leads, plucks and pads.
The M-One's nice, definitely clean, but I can't honestly comment on its suitability for long decays for trance tracks. I have a hunch you'll need the M-One XL for its XL algorithms for the really long decays as opposed to running a high decay time on just a large room...
I think for trance you'd want a thicker more effecty sounding verb like a Lexicon or Eventide than the TC, which is quite natural sounding. The M One XL is a good unit though, I used one (in conjunction with some software verbs) for a couple of albums until I got my Eventide, and it totally did the job.
If those were the only two options I'd probably go with the TC, I like the workflow better. But for around the same price you could get a Kurzweil Mangler which would be a better choice, or you could get the Eventide Black Hole plugin for less and use it in Cubase, or you could save a little extra cash and get the Eventide Space or a Lexicon PCM81 or something else.
