SH-2 - Had one, nice synth but a bit limited on the modulation front.
SH-101 - Owned one twice and sold it twice. Unique sound but like the SH-2 is quite limited.
Pro-One - Own one and will never part with it. Head and shoulders above the other two. The SH-2 perhaps sounds ever so slightly better, but the Pro-One blows it away in terms of functionality.

I modded my SH-101 about 2 years ago. I don't do mods for others though.
VCA overdrive is in this document, although they call it filter overdrive.
Triangle mod is a matter of taking the unused pin of IC13(pin 10, I think) and attaching it through a 100k pot and 220k resistor connected to C45, basically the same as the other waveforms. I also sent it to my modulation multi-switch, so it's available as an audio-rate mod source.
I am no longer in pursuit of vintage synths. The generally absurd inflation from demand versus practical use and maintenance costs is no longer viable. The internet has suffocated and vanquished yet another wonderful hobby. Too bad.

I just watched two live youtubes with yazoo, and it looks like "the keyboardist" is playing an SH-2 in one and a Jupiter-4 in the other. (for the basslines) Was the Pro-One doing the arpeggiation? Ahh Vinnie Clarke...such a gear w***e.
I stumbled on this old thread from a related search... For the benefit of anyone who might be mislead by the above statement, I just wanted to point out that the "live" videos for Don't Go are in-studio lip synced promotional videos. If you look, you'll see that the synths in these videos aren't even plugged in. So he could have been playing whatever synth they happened to have available at the studio, or whichever synth he wanted to bring in that day, or even a pipe organ for that matter...
