^I think the difference isn't so great here because I turned the cut off knob faster.

I feel like my filter doesn't step that much... maybe it's the getting I use.

It all depends on the resonance and cutoff setting. The res is at noon in that clip so you can hear it distinctly. But if you drop it to 9 o'clock you don't notice it. In the same way, if the res is high but cutoff really low, you don't hear it much either.
