Top 10 list, need help
I don't know if you guys are familiar with my youtube channel, 8-Bit Keys.
https://www.youtube.com/c/8BitKeys
But, anyway, I am going to be doing an episode where I suggest the top 10 vintage toy synths. Of course, on my channel I don't really cover anything that was considered a professional keyboard. So typically that would rule out anything with MIDI or velocity detection. So I'm looking for nominations of keyboards to feature. So far the list will definitely include these:
Casio SK-5
Yamaha PSS-460 / PSS-470
Those are the only two I know for sure will be on the list. Other candidates include:
Casio VL-1
Yamaha PSS-270
Yamaha PSS-170
Casio SK-1
So... give me more suggestions.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Casio HT-6000 - it's limited in some ways, but it's kind of magic all the same.
I'd say the Yamaha PSR-48, but really that's only for the completely frakkin' epic demo tune.

Casio SA-76. It has a funky "ethnic tune".
Don't forget the Hing Hon EK-001.
Or the Casiotone 201 and it's epic multipulse square wave sounds.
Or the SA-1 and its duophonic capabilities.
Or the MT-100 and its many mods.
Or the Casio MT-40 (Sleng Teng bassline) used to create the Mario theme (I think it was used on the Mario theme).
Mego Muson, which is like a poor man's 303.
Any Casio keyboard from the early '90s because they have Super Nintendo sounds.

Re: Top 10 list, need help
Hi there,
Apologies if I am using this forum incorrectly but I am looking for some help.
I'm currently working on a new online entertainment show based in the UK that is looking to use more obscure instruments. I'm keen to get hold of a Tenori-On and an Omnichord and I was wondering if anyone knows of any companies based in the UK or Europe that might be able to sell or loan second hand ones? A big ask I know but any help would be very much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Laura
