145 seems to be the going rate for the scsi port.
I have the classic, is this going to make a HUGE difference in sampling?
I am unsure if its really needed.

if you really into the Triton Sampling, it could be worth it. Otherwise, for the money, it could be a stand alone sampler with an Included SCSI interface such as the Akai S3000XL
