I need some buyers guide help on choosing a rack/keyboard stand/w.e. for my virus TI and my mackbook pro.
So it would obviously need a place for me to put my virus ti 61 key, and another place ontop for the labtop. I'm not sure what to do here.
I've seen plenty of two -tier keyboard racks, but I can't put the labtop on the top due to it just being two posts that the synth lays across on...
I was also thinking about maybe a small studio table-but nothing to big-big enough for the synth and the labtop.
I'm not sure what to do here/what to get.
I need like a combo synth rack/production station if that makes any sense--but space is somewhat limited and I can't get a huge table. lol
Any help appreciated!!!

First off, it's not a "labtop", it's a laptop.
Just get a piece of plywood and lay it across the top tier of a two tier stand. Then set your stuff on the plywood. If you need a front lip so it doesn't slide off, then get a length of L shaped aluminum channel from a hardware store and lay that across the front before you put the plywood (or paneling or whatever) there.

Quicklok make small home studio desks. Maybe take a look there. You can check on a few online music store. I've seen a few at www.musiciansfriend.com.
Whether you buy or not, it might give an idea.
Hope this helps!

Wait, is this for live performance? Or just a studio setup?

Re: Need help choosing synth rack!! :)
for either one, any simple dual tier stand will work for you
VNV nation used a regular stand with a keyboard on the bottom, then a piece of wood on the top tier so the laptop could rest on top of it...
convenient, and frugal, rather than going all out and buying a specially made laptop/keyboard stand

No one cares, no one sympathizes,
so you just stay home and play synthesizers.
