kenton spin doctor (or alternatives)

doesn't look like i can get this in canada

can anybody point me somewhere or recommend something similar? must be able to do nrpn & sysex. thanks!

As far as I'm aware, these were discontinued some time ago. You should be able to grab one used though for cheap.

I had a Spin Dr and it was OK - easy enough to use, easy enough to set up custom programs with a bit of care, but the main problem I had was the meagre display - not so easy to remember which knob does what when you're somewhere on the Xth page of Y... keep a chart of your layouts handy, or buy something with a good, informative display.

How about the Control Freak Live, much the same as a Spin Doctor except it does show the param being edited on the display. I got one for 80 UKP recently.

i can't find the control freak here (ontario, canada) either

doesn't anybody else make something like this?
