controller for my waldorf microwave xt

hi,

I am in a need of a midi controller for my waldorf microwave xt and I thouht that maybe I should add some extra and buy a cheap synth with midi.
what would be a good choice?

A great controller for the XT is the Akai MPK 49. That's what I use.

I was thinking that maybe dx-7 would suit fine, cause I always wanted one.
is the midi good on dx-7?

make sure it's not the dx7mk1 version, as the midi velocity only goes to around 0-99. Look for the mk2 version
