SH-1000 for one thousand? I paid so much less 2 years ago. It should be 300, at most.

Dude's got heaps of interesting gear for sale (counted at least 3 Rhythm Jesters, etc), though all 2-3x over normal selling prices, unfortunately.

Dude must just be looking for dumb schmucks who don't know any better. That's the only explanation I can think of for the constant relists. I remember posting his FB-01 listings in this thread last year, and the damn things are still for sale with a $200+ BIN.

Oscar for $2500
http://montreal.en.craigslist.ca/msg/3150986767.html
I really don't kow if it's the going price theses days, but it seems ridiculous to me. And so few word without picture for such a pricy synth is kind of weird, no?
Available for sale:
-Chamber of Sounds Jupiter III (mk1) & Jupiter T (mk1)
-The Complete DX7- Howard Massey (with original enclosed sounds on soft disks)

Occasionally, but I haven't seen any sell recently, I know I paid a h**l of a lot more for mine a few years back and there was a lot of other bidders too, but then that was back b4 the GFC when people still had money haha

In the case of the $17k CS-80, I kind of see why. When there is nothing else on the market, it's a seller's market, they can actually get away with ridiculous prices like that. Someone is bound to see it who works for some big-a*s record studio or some artist with "infinite money" who needs a CS-80 replacement. They'll probably find it and buy it only because it's the only one out there.

The guys who still have a functioning wall-sized moog modular system didn't go looking for the cheapest deals, they probably just went for whatever was available, no matter the price.

Avg selling price is generally @$600 USD. To be fair to this guy, there's another cat trying to sell one for $2k up there as well.
