Ooh. A real bargain.

Vintage Original Korg DSS-1 Sampling Synthesizer Excellent Shape - $700 (Middleboro)

"This Korg DSS-1 Sampling Synthesizer is in excellent condition with some visible wear around the edges for sure but the front face has some wear but not a ton and the keys are in excellent condition. This synthesizer is in 100% working order though it comes with no software. It does have a brand new power cord as well. The D and G sharp keys on the highest octave stick a little and thats about it! If you have any questions or would like additional photos please feel free to ask."

I suppose everyone can have dreams.

But if I had that money, I'd buy it. Awesome synth and a must for any collector.

Speaking of CS80 inflation:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/A-Working-Yamaha ... 2a577570f2

"A working Yamaha CS80 analog synthesizer" (4 dead voice cards, broken ribbon controller, uncalibrated, missing the support screws to hold the thing together so it probably won't survive shipping in the first place) for $17,000 USD. Right, yes. Okay, we have a different definition of the term "working." I love my CS80, and will be the first to admit that I paid way too much for it, but I certainly wouldn't pay $17k for a busted one.
