Jupiter 8 for $2500 in Seattle - with Encore MIDI

Seems a very good price these days if it's indeed in fine shape. If Seattle wasn't 30 hours away from me by car I'd be driving right now!

Yeah I nearly put it there, but you don't see many of them on ebay so figured it was tending towards the interesting side. His description made me laugh though.

The secret is INSIDE the Moog! If he found the secret, he could probably make a fortune showing all those moog clone wannabes how it's done.

Especially Whatever.com.

Yamaha TX816, full

I have a TX802, and it's pretty full sounding, but I've heard that you can get super lush with a full 816. Unfortunately, I don't have a spare grand to find out.

$1K is about twice I usually what I see them sell for. There's one in Dallas for $700 that I can broker for you if that interests you if the seller is unwilling to ship:

Yes, I've heard the TX816's have a "fuller" sound, but I cannot confirm that.

even $700 is too much. Most go for under $500 - I could barely unload mine for $400.

They also weigh a ton and you'll need 8! free xlr inputs handy if you want to hear anything.
