it's just a starting price for auctioning it off, unless there was a buy it now price before the first bid was placed?

I just missed a Korg Lambda for 50$...
It was a little too far away for me to go pick it up without a car, so someone else got it right away.

Beast wrote:Right,

Im thinking of selling one of my wasps.

Background -

I have a personal collection of about ten EDP wasps, in addition to a deluxe, a spider, and the utra-rare Stinger. Oh, and the
Oratron : ) Im quite keen on them ; )

Only two of the standard wasps i have are perfect. By perfect i mean theres zero damage to the case, none of the usual splits at
the corners, or around the screw holes. This is so rare in wasps.

I often service wasps for other people also ( http://www.thebeast.co.uk ) and so, of course, my own units are first class electronically.
Theyve been recapped, new regulators, cleaned up pots, new jacks if needed, etc. etc.

Now, being the sales man, what im basically saying is that i have two wasps, that are about as good as you can get anywhere, and im
wanting to sell one of them.

I would be after £695 for it. Which is at the high end of things, but, hey, like i say, you're getting what you pay for, which,
often, isnt the case with ebay etc.

Ill ship worldwide from the uk, or youre welcome to pick up in person (im about 35mins outside of london on the train).

My ebay id is 'thebeast-co-uk' and, although i dont post much on this list any more, ive been a subscriber here for years and
years, and the archives will show nice smooth transactions with people, not to mention the 100s of front panels ive cut for people
world wide. Ill also be at the sdiy meet in Cambridge next weekend, on the off-chance that anyone wants to see me there.

Thanks, Julian

http://www.thebeast.co.uk

ps. if youre properly interested in any of the other devices, feel free to drop me a line. im not exactly planning on selling the
rest right now, but may be tempted.
ten freaking wasps!

I literally could not give one away for free just a few years ago. I ended up donating it it to some kid I met in a grocery store.

These are very cool and don't seem to come up for sale too often (at least on Ebay US), It'll be interesting to see how much it ends at.

Price is pretty standard these days (crazy high, but alas), however the MIDI option is not. While I don't have the scratch for this (personally would by a new car first), others here might be looking, so I'm posting. From his history, the seller has dealt in vintage and expensive gear regularly, so he knows the a little something.

theoretically, if one were to be able to afford this...would it be a good deal?
This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...
