Another standard DX7, but that DX road case is kinda rad ... somehow new to my eyes:

It's the Mu-Tron Phasor II, which if it's included in the price, then you've got a good deal.
Otherwise, not so much.

location is smack dab in the heart of the University of Illinois campus.....can't imagine rolling up with $1200 cash in my pocket, towards dusk, when all the students have yet to return from Summer break. Screams of ambush and scam or no show and time and gas wasted.

Great-looking Korg 770 in NYC. I have one, and seriously, it should be worth double. Don't be fooled by the VSE entry on it. Just don't expect CV in or out.

Edit - WTF, my demo is used to help sell it? That's hilarious.

Definitely smells scammy (JP8's a fave of craigslister scammers), plus he's gonna wheel out a JP8 to the middle of the friggin' Quad? Right. Curiously though, that doesn't seem to be an image grabbed via a google image search. Would be nice to hear that a U of I lister gets it, AND doesn't get shiv'd in the process, but not holding me breath ...

Likely another goddamn scam, but here goes:

USD$1700 Voyager XL in Baltimore on Craigslist

...Caveat Emptor... I'm not going anywhere near it. If you email the guy and it's not a scam, I'll be happy to go get it and ship to you however. (no jokes) :D

And now for something completely different...

Why yes, I do enjoy my drums thrown... How did you know?

Hello, Nate?

...yeah, this is the 80's calling. We're going to need that neon green 'Vision Street Wear' tank-top back, and most definitely those ratty old Reebok high-tops and 'Members Only' Jacket you have. Stat. You've been sacked.

Sad, really. You had a promising career as Emissary for everything right with the 80's and you went and f**k the goddamn dog. Tragic.

Ah well...

I thought repeating "if Depeche Mode is your thing" twice in the post would have let me off the hook.

although there is really no excuse for the dancing in this video.

there's something about the bell-ringing and then head bobbing dancing that begins around :48 that is off-putting.....

*cough* I still suggest the possibility that it would look cool in the right setup. maybe a kraftwerk robots album cover, gary numan pleasure principle, etc etc etc. For $200 worth of art it's cheap.....

(knowing what each other looks like in real life makes this a lot more fun. Maybe we could get Jeff (VCO3) and make this a real party  ) ((which reminds me, how is that macbeth treating you.....?)) (((better than the polymoog I hope)))

:D
