On the topic of Jupiter scams

1300 dollars asking price... apparently in pretty good condition.... needs a service

legit? AUD has rough parity with USD

Edit: I suppose there not worth that much, they only get three stars here. But then again SH-101's go for 600-700-800 for one voice...

Looks pretty legit to me, since the seller invites to inspect it locally. I would go take a look if I was in the area.
Available for sale:
-Chamber of Sounds Jupiter III (mk1) & Jupiter T (mk1)
-The Complete DX7- Howard Massey (with original enclosed sounds on soft disks)

No unfortunately it's very far away... Thought I'd post it here in case someone else was interested. I would need to drive for a few days or catch a plane to get there haha... And your right, You'd need to check it out. Plus it's craiglist... not sure about buyer protection on that... Personally i'd only pick it up in person and pay with cash...

+1. I would hope a functioning polymoog would be worth over $3k. and the bit about the patches seems like a thorough listing and not anything to be worried about.

Polymoog prices have been diving recently, but a verified good one should easily be between 2-3k. Under no circumstances would I ship one or receive one expecting it to be fully functional when it got to me. The cases are flimsy and there's just so many components....

this won't (shouldn't) last long. Yet, keyboard versions tend not to sell quite as quickly as rack versions since the racks are rarer and don't eat space.

Mildly baffled why MicroQ's go for so cheap lately. Would grab another in an instance if mine went wonky.

mine cost me $2500 via auction on ebay. no keyboard, but still, that's not really a great deal or anything.
