this on the other hand, maybe a ridiculous price, but i've never seen or heard of it before.

I think there was a youtube video floating around a few years back. It was rumored a while ago there was going to be a reissue, never kept up with the progress. I saw in a shop in LA a long time ago price tag was about the same.
I wondered the same thing (see page 87 of thread), and was hoping the more knowledgeable and travels synth peers had some insight. Alas, another enigma!
If you watch Pink Floyd film Pompeii....Gilmore is using one, according to Analog Man's Guide to Vintage Effects.

The designer of the Hi-Fli said only 350 of them were ever produced, the basic sound of the unit can be reached by using an EH Microsynth and EH small stone together. The review of the pedal stated, pretty much s**t and only a collector's piece. The designer of the Hi-FLi went on to design pedals for EH (David Cockerell)
"All we used was the explosion and the orchestra hit. The Fairlight was a $100,000 waste of space."

They're not quite that rare, and I would say that is asking a lot for either, even with midi. Most I've seen go for less than $1k.

On a side note, WHO is this idiot who keeps flooding ebay with concert DVDs and why hasn't ebay done something about it? Talk about having to separate the wheat from the chaff..
Do you even post on vse bro?

Adding this certainly because it is what it is (and looks wicked clean), plus the description says includes "infinite dopeness" which I, for one need much more of.

Pretty high for a non-working unit, but maybe someone with skills can throw a number at the buyer.

This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...

Roland Juno 60 for $50 in Gainesville

Only incredible thing about this is the price - $50 for a Juno 60 that functions but needs a bit of work on the keys and pots:

http://gainesville.craigslist.org/msg/2346319824.html

Easily worth the $$$ just in parts.

He won't ship it to Canada - I already tried!

If you're looking for a Lead 2x, this seems like a pretty good price, since I haven't seen one this reasonable...In a long time... Even the BIN price is reasonable.
