For those about to Moog, we salute you! ;-)
BTW he also wants to share his appartment (see his other ad on Kijiji), so maybe you can get to live there and play with them for free!

It's not the first time he posts this add (there was more stuff before), but there is still no public prices...

As you said CS70ms are very rare and the power supply was new and all the voices tuned and all working. With CS80s going for $15K I think the 70M is kind of a bargain. :)

Dear sir,

I'd like to inquire about the asking price of your QUOTE NOW USED AS MY SIGNATURE. i am away travelling to help with the charity Save the Whale Foundation for Obese Children. I will pay for your QUOTE NOW USED AS MY SIGNATURE with a money order, and my third party shipping company will handle the transaction.

Thank you for your kind attention.

I'm honored! As a payment, you can add a quarter to the loose penny bin at your convenient store, or leave a $1 bill to the nearest busker from your location [unless he/she plays Van Halen's "Jump" with a pan flute]. =D>

I had one for sale here on VSE for months, a year or two ago. No one was interested. I bought it from the original owner, who had kept in immaculate condition. He also had the System 102 expander which I bought as well. He used them for a short while in a cover band in the 70's. Crazy find from a cool old dude.

Personally, I wasn't that into the guitar or the synth, and they certainly didn't track together well enough to make them useful. Just my opinion. The guitar is also very heavy.

The synth module looks cool, but can be misleading since it has a lot of sliders. Like many synths that may look very interesting at first glance, it's actually divided into 3 different synth engines none of which holds much potential on it's own.

Admittedly, I never controlled the synth module with a keyboard via the CV/Gate on the back.

The CS70M actually has some real advantages over the 60 - 30 patch memories to store your own sounds instead of fixed presets, unison mode, split mode, 12 voices instead of 8, auto-tune, step/real-time sequencer, and the biggie is you can layer 2 sounds just like the CS80 (in split mode you can actually play 4 patches at once). Oh and only about 60lbs instead of a back-breaking 100... ;)
